Captain George’s
We pulled into Virginia Beach today with a very relaxing day ahead of us. We didn’t have anything planned to do, until later that night when we were going to eat. We probably didn’t have anything planned because nothing is open in Virginia Beach in the off season. Besides the whole 20 people we saw walking on the board walk it looked like a ghost town.
The girls, not wanting to sit in the hotel all day, got Eli to take us to a near by mall for some shopping! After we got back we hung out in the hotel room and awaited dinner.
We all loaded up at 7 and made our way to Captain George’s. It’s an all you can eat seafood buffet that had amazing crab legs and all the other stuff was good too.
Captain George’s was by far the best meal I’ve had on the trip. With my New York style hot dog coming in a close second. I had a plate full of crab legs, then a plate with a bunch of new things I decided to try and then I had another plate with the things I liked the best. And finally I finished off with dessert.
But the best part of the night was when Kelsi Moos, as she was eating a crab leg, says…. this lobster is really good, I want to try crab next. It was the first time she had ever tried crab or lobster(which she never had any of) and she no one told her what she was eating. It was so funny!!
